SOLUTION FAQ
Top Questions for Your SMT Line
From capacity and PCB characteristics to inspection strategy and lead time, our engineers answer the questions buyers ask most before committing to a line.
What information is needed to plan a complete SMT line?
PCB size and component range, target UPH, product types, factory layout, quality requirements and budget range. With these we can propose equipment, capacity and layout in one pass.
New vs pre-owned SMT equipment — which to choose?
For high-mix and budget-sensitive lines, certified pre-owned equipment shortens payback; for automotive and medical programs, new machines with full traceability are usually preferred. We advise per project.
How should AOI, SPI and X-Ray be combined?
SPI guards paste volume before placement, AOI verifies visible solder joints after reflow, and X-Ray inspects hidden joints such as BGA and QFN. We size the combination to your yield and traceability targets.
How long from solution confirmation to delivery?
Typical lead time is 4–8 weeks for standard machines and 8–12 weeks for full-line or customized configurations, including FAT, shipping, installation and operator training.
How does equipment connect to existing MES or smart storage?
Our machines expose SMEMA, standard I/O and data interfaces for MES and smart warehouse integration, with optional barcode tracing and SPC data export.
